Abstract

This examines the adequacy of training given to students to be ICT compliant in Nigeria Library Schools. The study examines three library schools in Anambra State. It describes the traditional and modern role of librarians and the need to upgrade the library schools curricula for the proper training of librarians to
meet the challenges of the Information Communication Technology need of the libraries of the 21st century. The education of librarians means provision of funds, computer/ICT laboratory, and specialist instructors to support the library educators.
